Meet our pastor

Will Mercer is the senior pastor of Mount Zion and a Gospel communicator who has served faithfully across multiple ministry venues for over 18 years. Joining us in June of 2025, Pastor Will brings a down-to-earth style and a deep passion for real-life discipleship that we know will resonate with you and your family as you work to deepen your faith, nurture your families, and manage life's responsibilities.

Will has been happily married to his wonderful wife, Sarah, for over 13 years, and together they are the proud parents of 5 amazing daughters.

As a family, they love to spend time together exploring old service roads, scouting out new fishing spots, or simply soaking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

Cody and Kayla Mashburn faithfully lead our youth in community and discipleship. Every week, our students are challenged, through practical preaching and relevant teaching, not only to claim Christ but to live a transformed life.

Together, they are the proud parents of their beautiful daughter, Maeverly.
